Coffee and Torn Pages came to mind over one of Kat and Emily’s many text message conversations: What if we made a blog of our short creative writing pieces to spur inspiration for greater, more large-scale writing projects?
Kat Eleftheriou is a University of Toronto graduate in English Literature and Classical Civilizations. She has always been drawn to self-expression through written word and has had many projects throughout her life that help her achieve this, including writing for The Purple Fig, Elite Daily and working on her own blog Katsomething. She is always looking toward different types of inspiration for her writing and Midnight Drafts is the perfect way to hone those skills and her imagination. You can follow Katerina on Instagram (@katsomething) and Twitter (@KaterinaE) where she posts regular updates of her life and journey through creativity.
Emily Fata is a Ryerson University alumni majoring in psychology. She is the founder of Emulating Emily and runs the connected YouTube channel, and has previously contributed to Elite Daily, Thought Catalog, My Cocktail Masterclass, and All Bartenders. She is also a volunteer at the non-profit Student Unity Project, with one of her many responsibilities being to write both research and opinion pieces on their blog. In addition to this, she has been published four times in anthologies by the Poetry Institute of Canada and her novel Amazing Grace was once published, too (before the publisher shut down – but will hopefully be re-published again soon). She also co-hosts Live 8 Productions’ web show Lounge Lookout. Her personal website can be found at www.emilymichellefata.com. You can also follow her on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. All of her travelling adventures can be found on Wanderous Affair’s Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr accounts.
